so i finally broke down and spent some money on this game and bought a Kapak. currently my xeno deck consists of this.

commander: Vyander

Kraken
Mothership
kapak
daemon
intercepter
rifter
enclave champion x2
and for shits and giggles a recurring darkness

The deck works well enough but i believe it could be much better. If you have any advice how to make it better it would be much appreciated.

Well, that seems like a fairly solid xeno slowroll. Just a quick question, what mission are you on/what other xeno cards do you have? This would help me give you advice. Seems nice though-Kapak is awesome.

i am currently on mission 117. my only other rare xeno cards are abolisher, phoenix, world quaker, zerbur, and phantom. i would like to move towards making it a little faster. currently its average wait time on creatures is 2.9 turns. if you have any suggestions for cards to speed it up a bit that would be helpful. and is the recurring darkness as good as im thinking it is in this deck? i like the stacking of choas all and enfeeble all

Slow roll is fine; the intent is to throw out so many creatures they can't hit them all.

I would recommend Dracorex over Vyander if you have him, and perhaps an action card like the Weaken All 3 to buy a turn.

Enclave Champs provide needed Siege, and the heal can be quite helpful.

World Quaker can be a nice boon; I'd debate swapping him in for Daemon (although your slow roll would be even slower...)

Ok, my main deck I use for missions and stuff happens to be a xeno flyers deck-so you're in luck! If you're looking for faster cards to put in, Predator is an excellent choice-deals with flying cards+helps get some fast board presence. Stealthy Niaq is also well worth considering, he is just so awesome. If you like I can list my xeno deck (some of the cards are raid rewards and such so don't worry about those):

Commander: Vyander (heal all xeno 1 is better than dracorex when you have some fast cards imho)
Instants: Airstrike (just don't ask-I've always played this card. Sometimes it can save your first turn slow card from dying to a perfect counter but really there are better cards you could play).
Other cards: Stealthy Niaq (see above)
Predator (see above)
Apex (Kapak is much better but I don't have him, so apex has to do-he is faster though)
Xeno Mothership/Xeno Overlord (some big cards which end the game fast if they activate-I never play more than one 4-drop).
Rifter (A generally awesome card)
Azure Reaper/Vapourwing (If I need the armor, it's vapourwing otherwise azure reaper is fairly solid).
Enclave Champion (some siege)
Daemon (a bit slow but helps if it gets out).
One more utility card (depends on my mood).

So if you're worried about your deck being too slow, this is what I would do:
Vyander, Kapak, Rifter, Enclave Champion, Dominated Hatchlingsx2, Stealthy Niaq, Predator, Mothership, Pandemic/EMP (depends on which you prefer), World Quaker/Interceptor (again, personal preferance helps-the interceptor is one turn faster).

so i took some of your advice and was able to speed my deck up to a 2.4 from a 2.9. it now looks like this

vyander

kapak
mothership
recurring darkness
rifter
intercepter
stealthy niaq
2 enclave champs
predator

as my last card i want a instant card. i am having trouble deciding between emp, full power, or relinquish power. since mothership is the only card with rally in the deck i thought some extra rally would be nice but i ran into a few occasions where emp would have been nice. however i did win those but it was very close calls. any thoughts or is this just something i have to play around with?

With that sort of deck I would definitely run EMP as in order for relinquish power/full power to be most effective you need to have a few assault units out-and with your deck, if that occurs, then you've probably already won. EMP is a generally awesome action card and should definitely be played here.
And just as an aside, does the recurring darkness do much in that deck? I know he's good, but he doesn't benefit from any of the heal all xeno and just seems a bit slow and out of place. I would replace him with something faster, either a sustainer xolan (Enclave Flagship 100 honour reward) for even more quick heal or a cloaked exarch (honoured reputation reward for chaos squad) for some more rally. Hope this helps-neither of these cards are getable without a bit of effort though.
