its like armour but better.
It provents damage in all forms like from strike or an attack but I think if you have a unit that has protect it just does it randomly to any of your units

So if you have Protect 1 and get hit from 2 orbital cannons and Tiamat, you only take 1 damage total...?

if you have protect one and you get hit by 2 sources that deals 1 damnage you only take one protec wears off after the damage reaches what ever lvl of protect is on the card until the next turn and it redoes the protect
